Lost Wax Workshop
At this workshop you will make a shape of your future ring in special jeweller's wax. The wax you make will be later put in plaster, it will melt out and instead hot silver will be put inside which will recreate a perfect copy of what you will make. Please find some inspiration before you come, make some sketches, it will help you to save time at the workshop. We don't copy other designer's work at this workshop, so let's make an original, only your own unique design. You can use Pinterest pictures to describe your idea better, showing me textures, shapes and finishing types.
After the workshop I will take it to casting, then in a few days I will pick it up, polish it and it will be ready for you to pick it up at the studio. Casting process takes from 1 week to 10 working days. (if you can’t wait and don’t live in Barcelona, you can buy shipping and we will send the result by mail.)

5gr of silver are included, extra silver price you can find at the bottom of this page. Due to volatile silver prices we will update the price of extra silver every week. (You will know the weight of silver before we finish, it is counted like this : Weight of wax x 10,4= weight in silver). Extra silver price is counted with the price of silver at the day of the workshop, not the day of the booking.
We also have an option to cast your piece in brass and silver plate it so that you don’t need to pay anything extra if a piece that you make is heavy and big. (it depends on the design). We also have different gemstones to choose from which cost 1-5€ /piece. Silver plating wears off with time (depending on jewelry care and how often you wear your ring), and you will need to silver plate your piece again, but this option gives you a better price.
Fingerprint ring can also be made at this workshop (you will make the ring shape from zero) (We also have pre-maid shapes to put fingerprints on them. It is less expensive and takes around 10 minutes, it is a Fingerprint rings service which you can book at our website) .

Attention! There is a 0,5% chance that an accident can happen at the casting provider. It happened once, but you need to be informed that if there is a force majeur at the casting process, the waxes can be lost forever. If this happens you will be offered to make another piece again for free.
